Explorer

The Explorer was designed as NDK's main expedition kayak and has a large carrying capacity. In 2000 it was used on a one-month expedition to Antarctica carrying all supplies with no support. Ideal for the medium to large kayaker. Also available in high and low volume models.

Romany

The Romany is a maneuverable day / weekend kayak. Designed for rough water and ease of handling in the surf. The kayak can be rolled easily and is ideally suited for the small to medium sized kayaker. Its easy handling makes it the 1st choice for many coaches. Also available in high and low volume models.

Greenlander

The Greenlander is designed along traditional Inuit lines. The kayak is a
low volume fast kayak. Ideal for the small to medium sized kayaker.

In 2000 the kayak was used on an expedition to Greenland. The local hunters have since purchased three of these kayaks for hunting purposes.

Romany HV

Formally known as The Posedion, The Romany HV has been designed as a day kayak for the larger paddler. The kayak has a wider keyhole cockpit than any other British made fibreglass sea kayak and has more volume in the rear compartments than the Romany.

The hull design offers maximum support and the shaped foredeck allows for large feet up to size 11/12. Having a flatter hull this kayak surfs well.

Greenlander Pro

The Greenlander Pro has evolved from the Greenlander. The hull is 2 inches/ 50 mm longer and has a straighter rocker line. This is the fastest kayak in the fleet. Ideally suited for the small to medium sized kayaker. The low volume helps the lighter kayaker control the kayak in windy conditions.

Triton II

The Triton has been designed as a fast fun double. Ideally suited for the intermediate to advanced kayaker. The Triton comes as standard with a skeg but a rudder could be fitted as an optional extra.

Greenland Race

This has been designed for open ocean racing and as a faster expedition / touring kayak primarily for flat to intermediate conditions. The kayak behaves well in the wind but is regarded as an advanced kayak in rough conditions.

Some Basic Options include the Fiberglass Standard or Elite Lay Up.  These boats are built tough, with a thick gel coat. That is to be able to land in rough surf, pull up on rocky beaches, and do rough water rescues.  If you want a little bit of a lighter kayak, and don't feel that you will be in these conditions, you can consider the Elite Lay Up. This lay Up is approx 8-10 pounds lighter than the standard lay up, and has carbon/Kevlar bulkheads, and a carbon seat (instead of fiberglass). The gel coat is also thinner.

Other options are

Wire or Rope Skeg, Foot Pump Installed, Foam Seat (instead of Glass), Compass Installed
Custom Colors, Carbon Kevlar Kayak, 3 Piece Kayak

Any custom order will require a custom order fee of $100. Delivery time will depend on what you order, and what time of the season. Call us to discuss this if you are interested.  All boats come directly from Nigel Dennis in Wales.
